Avengers: Doomsday Full Story Leak Explained: Doctor Doom, Incursions, Loki, Battleworld and More

A massive alleged Avengers: Doomsday story leak has surfaced online, claiming to reveal major details about Doctor Doom, multiversal incursions, the X-Men, Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man, Deadpool, Wolverine, Steve Rogers, Loki and even the creation of Battleworld. The original script presents these details as information supposedly taken from an early unfinished screening, so none of this should be considered officially confirmed by Marvel Studios. The movie may still change significantly before its final theatrical version.
1. Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man Universe Opens the Movie

According to the alleged leak, Avengers: Doomsday begins inside the universe of Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man. This immediately reconnects audiences with one of Marvel’s most recognizable legacy characters, but the reunion quickly becomes violent. Tobey’s Spider-Man reportedly finds himself fighting Deadpool and Wolverine.
However, Deadpool and Wolverine have not simply arrived for a battle. They are carrying a bomb powerful enough to destroy an entire planet. The plan is reportedly connected to Beast, the X-Men character seen in the post-credit scene of The Marvels. The reason behind their mission is an incursion between Tobey Maguire’s Earth and the X-Men’s Earth. If the collision continues, one of the two realities must apparently be destroyed.

The X-Men universe has numerous powerful mutants capable of defending their world, while Tobey’s Earth appears to rely primarily on Spider-Man. Because of this, the X-Men side chooses to sacrifice Tobey’s reality to save its own universe.
2. Wolverine Sacrifices Himself as Tobey’s Earth Is Destroyed

The situation becomes even more tragic when the device used to activate the bomb reportedly stops working correctly. Someone must remain behind to repair it manually. Wolverine chooses to stay.
Deadpool escapes, while Wolverine fixes the remote and activates the weapon. The explosion destroys Tobey Maguire’s universe. According to the alleged story, both Wolverine and Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man die during the destruction, while Deadpool manages to return to safety.
This part of the story is especially controversial because it places Deadpool and Wolverine in a morally difficult position. Both characters previously fought to protect worlds from destruction, yet here they would be responsible for sacrificing another Earth to protect the X-Men’s reality.
3. Professor X Realizes the Multiverse Is Collapsing

The story then shifts to Charles Xavier. Professor X looks toward the sky and sees a giant red planet moving toward his world. It is another Earth involved in an incursion.
Charles understands that his people are approaching a situation where survival may require actions they would normally never consider. This introduces one of the central conflicts of the alleged movie: what happens when heroes are forced to choose between saving their own universe and protecting innocent people from another reality?
The multiversal crisis is no longer something that can be solved without sacrifice. Every Earth involved in an incursion must eventually decide how far it is willing to go to survive.
4. Tony Stark’s Funeral Is Revisited

The alleged leak then takes audiences back to Tony Stark’s funeral from Avengers: Endgame. This time, however, the sequence reportedly contains additional scenes.
Steve Rogers is shown speaking with several heroes before beginning his mission to return the Infinity Stones. He also speaks with Scott Lang about when and where the Stones must be returned and what precautions need to be taken.
Steve eventually completes his mission and chooses to remain in the past with Peggy Carter. After a small time jump, Steve and Peggy are shown living together, and the couple now has a child.
5. Loki Visits Steve Rogers

Steve and Peggy’s peaceful life changes when someone knocks on their door. The visitor is Loki.

According to the leak, this meeting takes place after the events of Loki Season 1 but before Loki creates the multiversal tree at the end of Season 2. Loki explains the TVA, He Who Remains and the dangers threatening the multiverse.
He warns Steve that the Sacred Timeline will not remain stable forever. A multiversal war is coming, and Steve’s current timeline may eventually become dangerous.
Loki therefore helps Steve and Peggy move into another reality where they can live safely. That universe is reportedly Earth-828, associated with the Fantastic Four. Before leaving, Loki gives Steve a communication device that will allow him to contact Loki again in the future.
6. Steve Rogers Builds a Family on Earth-828

Steve Rogers and Peggy Carter reportedly spend around ten years living on Earth-828. They have a son named James and build an entirely new life there.
Steve is not simply retired. He reportedly begins helping the people of this new world, participating in missions and contributing to its society.
However, his presence becomes extremely important later in the story. Steve originally came from Earth-616, meaning a person from one universe has now been living inside another reality for approximately a decade. Doctor Doom eventually begins to suspect that this may be connected to the growing instability between universes.
7. The Sacred Timeline Theory

At this point, the original script introduces a broader fan theory about the MCU multiverse. This part is speculation rather than a direct element of the alleged Doomsday leak.
The theory suggests that the Sacred Timeline may not represent only one universe. Instead, an original reality may once have contained the Avengers, X-Men, Fantastic Four and other superhero groups together. He Who Remains could then have separated their histories into different timelines to prevent them from crossing paths and creating another multiversal war.
Under this interpretation, one timeline would contain the Avengers, another could contain the Fantastic Four, another the X-Men, while additional branches could contain Deadpool and other characters.
The TVA would then exist to prevent these timelines from branching too far or reconnecting with dangerous realities outside the protected multiversal structure.
8. Could Steve Rogers Have Created the Fantastic Four Timeline?

The theory goes even further by suggesting that Steve Rogers’ actions after Endgame may have indirectly helped create the reality eventually known as Earth-828.
If Steve changed enough events in the past, World War II could have unfolded differently. Hydra might never have gained the same influence, Red Skull may never have followed the same path, and the development of technology could have taken a completely different direction.

That altered history could eventually produce the retro-futuristic world associated with the Fantastic Four.
The most important implication is Doctor Doom. If Steve’s actions contributed to creating Earth-828, he may also have indirectly created the circumstances that allowed Victor von Doom to exist.
9. Doctor Doom Meets Sue Storm and Franklin Richards

Returning to the alleged movie plot, Doctor Doom reportedly visits Sue Storm and Franklin Richards.
Their conversation reveals that Doom already knows the Fantastic Four and appears to understand Reed Richards extremely well. Doom explains that the barriers separating different universes are collapsing and that incursions are spreading throughout the multiverse.
According to Doom, their Earth may soon be next.
He proposes finding the original source of the crisis, and his investigation eventually points toward Earth-616.
10. Doom Discovers Steve Rogers Came From Earth-616

Doctor Doom asks Reed Richards a crucial question: can a person from one universe permanently live inside another universe?
Reed confirms that it is possible.
This immediately gives Doom a theory. Someone from another reality may have been living inside Earth-828 for years. They scan the planet and discover Steve Rogers, Peggy Carter and their son.
Doom eventually determines that Steve originally came from Earth-616. Because Steve has spent around ten years living on Earth-828, Doom begins to suspect that Steve’s presence may have contributed to the instability affecting his world.
11. The Fantastic Four Arrive on Earth-616

Doctor Doom, the Fantastic Four and Steve eventually travel to Earth-616. According to the script, their arrival may connect directly to the mysterious spaceship shown during the ending of Thunderbolts.
Once they arrive, several superhero teams finally come together. The Avengers, New Avengers, Fantastic Four and other heroes begin discussing the multiversal crisis.
Steve also tells them about Loki. He explains that Loki once visited him and warned him that a multiversal war would eventually begin, with different Earths colliding with one another.
This revelation is particularly important for Thor, who learns that Loki survived far beyond what he previously understood and eventually became a figure connected to the entire multiverse.
12. The Heroes Travel to the X-Men Universe

The heroes eventually identify the X-Men universe as one of the realities that has already survived multiple incursions.
A team travels there looking for answers, but the X-Men immediately attack them.
Their aggressive response reportedly comes from experience. After surviving several incursions, the X-Men no longer trust visitors from other realities. Anyone arriving from another Earth is treated as a potential enemy because they could be responsible for destroying the X-Men’s world.
Instead of welcoming the Avengers, the mutants immediately prepare for war.
13. Reed Richards and Doctor Doom Build Incursion Cannons

Eventually, Reed Richards and Doctor Doom manage to create a temporary alliance between the different superhero groups.
Doom proposes installing enormous cannon-like machines on the major Earths affected by the incursions. He claims these devices will prevent different realities from colliding.
Exactly how the machines work is not completely explained in the alleged leak. They may destroy an approaching Earth before impact or somehow prevent two realities from physically merging.
For the moment, however, the heroes believe Doom is genuinely trying to save the multiverse.
14. Steve Rogers Takes Thor to the TVA

While the machines are being installed, Steve speaks privately with Thor.
Steve tells Thor that he believes there may still be a way for him to see Loki again. He reveals the device Loki gave him years earlier and uses it to open a path to the TVA.
Steve and Thor travel there together.
What they discover immediately changes their understanding of the entire crisis.
15. Loki Is Dead and the TVA Has Been Destroyed
The TVA has been completely devastated.
Bodies are reportedly scattered throughout the facility, and almost everyone appears to have been killed.
Then Steve and Thor discover something far worse: Loki has apparently been murdered.
The alleged leak describes Loki’s heart lying on the floor of the TVA. Whoever attacked him was powerful enough to defeat the being responsible for holding together the multiversal structure.
Steve and Thor investigate the scene and eventually discover a clue pointing toward Doctor Doom.
16. Doctor Doom’s Real Plan Is Revealed

Steve returns to the other heroes and explains that Doom may never have intended to stop the incursions.
Instead, Doom has allegedly been allowing them to happen.
According to Steve, Doom attacked the TVA and absorbed the power associated with Loki and the multiverse. Doom wants the existing multiverse to collapse so that he can rebuild reality according to his own design.
His motivation, however, is deeply personal.
Doom reportedly lost his family, including people closest to him, during an earlier disaster connected to an incursion. He wants to create a reality where those people never died and where everything exists according to his vision.
17. Doom Returns to Latveria

After realizing that the heroes have become suspicious of him, Doom announces that he is leaving and returning to Latveria.
Steve Rogers immediately suspects that even this retreat is part of Doom’s larger plan, so he follows him.
Steve reaches Doom’s castle and encounters something completely unexpected: Peggy Carter.
However, this version of Peggy appears different. She is presented almost like one of Doom’s magical servants, similar to a sorceress, and wears imagery connected to Doom.
She tries to convince Steve that they can finally be together again.
Steve realizes that what he is seeing is an illusion or manipulation and breaks free from it.
18. Doom Blames Steve Rogers for Destroying His Life

Doctor Doom then confronts Steve directly.
Doom claims that the collapse of his universe can ultimately be traced back to Steve’s decision to live on Earth-828.
Steve was never supposed to belong there.
According to Doom, Steve’s presence helped create the conditions that eventually destabilized Doom’s reality.
During one of the incursions, Doom attempted an experiment designed to save his world. The experiment failed catastrophically, killing members of his family and leaving Doom both physically and psychologically damaged.
Only Doom’s mastery of sorcery allowed him to survive.
From Doom’s perspective, Steve Rogers is responsible for everything he lost.
19. Doom Kills Steve Rogers’ Son
The conflict becomes extremely personal when Doom’s followers capture Steve and Peggy’s son, James.
According to the alleged leak, Doom has the boy killed directly in front of Steve.
Steve is completely devastated. After watching his son die, he is reportedly unable even to speak properly because of the shock.
This becomes the emotional breaking point between Steve Rogers and Doctor Doom.
At the same time, the other Avengers finally discover that Doom’s entire plan involving the incursion cannons was a lie.
20. The Avengers Attack Latveria
Once the heroes realize Doom has betrayed them, the Avengers, Fantastic Four and other superheroes travel to Latveria.
Thor prepares for the coming battle by praying to Odin and asking for the strength necessary to defeat the enemy in front of him.
Meanwhile, the incursions begin accelerating across the multiverse.
The heroes finally learn the true purpose of Doom’s machines.
They were never designed to stop the incursions.
They were built to make them happen faster.
21. Doom Uses the TVA to Accelerate the Incursions
The cannons installed on different Earths are reportedly controlled through the TVA.
Because Doom has taken control of the TVA’s power, he can activate the devices across different realities.
Instead of separating universes, the machines accelerate the collapse.
Earths begin moving toward one another more rapidly, and incursions spread throughout the multiverse.
Doom admits that he could take Loki’s power and eventually does exactly that.
The multiverse begins falling apart.
22. The Multiverse Is Destroyed
As the incursions accelerate, countless heroes and civilians across different realities begin dying.
The existing multiverse can no longer survive the chain reaction.
This is exactly what Doom wanted.
Rather than preserving the old multiverse, Doom allows it to collapse completely.
Once everything has been destroyed, he uses the enormous power he has accumulated to create something entirely new.
23. Doctor Doom Creates Battleworld
With the old multiverse destroyed, Doctor Doom creates Battleworld.
From the audience’s perspective, the transformation reportedly appears almost instantaneous. Doom gains control over reality and creates a new world from the remains of destroyed universes.
However, the alleged story suggests that the deeper explanation behind Battleworld will not be fully explored in Avengers: Doomsday.
Instead, the consequences of Doom’s actions will continue directly into Avengers: Secret Wars.
Battleworld becomes a patchwork reality containing surviving pieces of different universes.
24. God Emperor Doom Rules the New Reality
The alleged movie ends with Doctor Doom sitting on his throne as God Emperor Doom.
Different variants of Marvel heroes now exist inside separate kingdoms across Battleworld.
Characters who once belonged to completely different realities have been brought together inside Doom’s newly created world.
The ending therefore sets up Avengers: Secret Wars, where the surviving heroes will presumably have to understand what happened, recover their memories and eventually challenge Doom’s control over reality.
What This Alleged Leak Could Mean for Avengers: Secret Wars
If even part of this alleged story turns out to be accurate, Avengers: Doomsday would function as the destruction of the existing MCU multiverse, while Secret Wars would focus on what comes afterward.
Doctor Doom would not simply be introduced as another villain trying to conquer Earth. He would become the person who destroys the current multiverse and rebuilds reality itself.
Battleworld would also provide Marvel with an easy narrative reason to bring together characters from completely different franchises and universes, including the Avengers, X-Men, Fantastic Four, Spider-Man variants and other legacy Marvel characters.
However, the story should still be treated as an unconfirmed leak. The source script itself acknowledges that the alleged screening was unfinished and that scenes, visual effects and story elements could still be changed or removed before the final movie.
For now, the most important ideas from the alleged leak are clear: incursions begin destroying the multiverse, Steve Rogers becomes connected to Earth-828, Doctor Doom steals Loki’s power, the TVA falls, multiple universes are destroyed, and Doom ultimately creates Battleworld as God Emperor Doom.
Whether Marvel Studios actually uses this storyline remains to be seen.
